With the practice of meditating and exploring creative ways to come to the meditative state, families and their loved ones can engage more from the frontal lobe part of the brain rather than the more primitive emotional brain so that they can improve their relationships and discover a more peaceful life with healthy relationships. 

Science has proven that engaging in creative activities such as art and music, can create meditation-like states in people’s minds.  This helps people to release stress and negative emotions. These types of activities can provide a nonverbal way to work through underlying factors that can contribute to their disease.


Harvard research found meditation can change our brain gray matter and major part of the central nervous system that is associated with processing the information as well as providing nutrients and energy to neurons.  These changes can help heal in many ways including enhancing one's mood and reduction in stress.  

With a practice of meditating and exploring different ways to come to a meditative state, families and their loved ones can engage more from the frontal lobe part of the brain, rather than the more primitive emotional brain so that they can listen to and hear each other, and become aware of their own reactions and choices themselves, and creating some breathing room and space into their awareness before jumping to reaction.

Series: 12 weekly, 90 min. sessions
